According to the National Retail Federation, U.S. retailers can expect a strong holiday season this year, which is great news – since holiday sales often account for an average 30% of all sales for a retailer. This year eMarketer expects digital sales to surpass 10% of total holiday season revenue with more and more shoppers buying online.
According to Google, these “super shoppers” don’t only want the best; they want personalized, unique, cool gifts. Mobile searches related to “unique gifts” grew more than 65%, while mobile searches related to “cool gifts” grew more than 80%.
But don’t wait – December 15th is known as the busiest shipping day of the year. If you want to get it there by Christmas, get shopping!
Here are a few ideas for everyone on your list:
For the little ones:
It wouldn’t be the holidays without a sack full of toys. That includes the latest craze Hatchimals. First, you care for the egg to encourage the bird to hatch, followed by the ability to train the bird to move, dance, repeat words and later, play games. But they are out of stock everywhere and hard to find- your best bet is eBay, or try Amazon.com. But hurry – a little birdie told us these prices are soaring.
With Etsy, you can shop unique and personalized and unique gifts from around the world – like this Vine Monogram Necklace or this sleek personalized travel wallet. Get anything from customized signs for home, business or friends!
