Online Trends: Guide to Shopping Holiday 2016

As online retailers prepare for the holiday shopping season, holiday promotions are popping up on websites, mobile phones and in stores – before we can even say “boo!” The reason? The majority of e-commerce happens during the holiday rush – and e-tailers are eager to get their products out to you – first.

According to Internet Retailer:

In 2015, the 29 largest publicly traded online retailers in the United States collectively brought in $48.16 billion online during the fourth quarter. That was a 19.3% jump from $40.38 billion in 2014’s fourth quarter, and it represented 37.2% of their total online sales for the year.
